Ajith received honor includes Eureka Forbes Young Scientist - Sri Paramakalyani College, Manonmanium Sundaranar University, Best Researcher in Annamalai University, K. Chidambaram memorial annual award for the contribution to marine Ornamental Fish Breeding, Best Marine Aquarium Award, Govt. of Kerala, and Best Marine Aquarium Award, Govt. of Tamil Nadu.

Dr Parvathi A. holds a Bachelor's degree in Fisheries Science (B.F.Sc, College of Fisheries, Panangad, Kerala), Masters degree in Fishery Microbiology (M.F.Sc, College of Fisheries, Mangalore) and a Ph.D. in Biosciences (Mangalore University, Karnataka). She joined CSIR-National Institute of Oceanography (CSIR-NIO) in 2007 as Junior Scientist and became Principal Scientist in 2019. She joined the Department of Biotechnology, CUSAT as a full-time Professor in 2021.
